    We meet every 2nd and 4th Tuesday at the Jaycee Hall located at the top of Delwood Avenue in the Elm Terrace area of Wheeling. Meeting time is 6:30 p.m. In addition, all members are invited to attend our board meetings held at 6:30 p.m. on the 3rd Tuesday at the Jaycee Hall or location announced in our monthly newsletter.

HISTORY
    Since 1981, the Ohio Valley Jaycees have been active in the community. We have raised tens of thousands of dollars for various charities, holding major community forums on subjects such as teen violence and statewide ballot issues, helping to provide services to victims of domestic abuse, initiating a program called “Rally in the Valley” to draw more people to downtown Wheeling, and organizing the parade that welcomed home area Gulf War vets.

    Internally, our members develop communications skills through our ongoing “Speak-Up” and “Write-Up” and Debate programs.

    Of course, we offer plenty of fun projects—such as Jamboree in the Hills in which members work to help raise money for chapter activities and get to attend the “Super Bowl of Country Music” for free. We also sponsor Steak-fries, chapter outings, socials and family-oriented activities.
